MADD Mike Lives!!!!!! • Replacing rise of the phoenix is very appropriately a competition in honor of a great lifter and man. Michael Russel Jr lives on through every lifter that steps onto the platform. • I personally had the privilege to capture a comp where Mike competed even with his diagnosis of non smokers lung cancer and will never forget the impression he left on me. • To compete with the diagnosis, to keep the smiles coming, to shine so brightly, only a true lifter and fighter could do it the way he did. • Fittingly this comp will be held at valhalla, a place you only reach by fighting with honor and grit until the very end. • When you walk onto that platform, remember who this comp is honoring, a fellow lifter, brother, and son. • Honor him, yourself, and the love of the Iron!!!!

To Mother Earth, As with most moms we take you for granted, don’t appreciate you and the work you do. I am a silly kid living thanks to your nourishment and thriving from your beauty and adventure. Thank you for the beauty and growth, the lessons you teach and the kindness and forgiveness you show. Thank you for being fierce and beautiful as all women are, reminding us kindness is not weakness. Thank you for taking care of my children, letting them live their silly lives and experience the treasures you hold. I had the most beautiful day with @brittneeparke soaking up the sun and among cherry blossoms. • The weather was perfect, everyone was in a great mood. We saw the most beautiful well behaved puppies, danced in front of strangers 🕺, and made some gorgeous photographs. • I say it all the time but it will never be enough, I love my job and I’m so thankful for yall being the reason I can do it! • Also a side note in today’s supercharge politics, Brittnee and I couldn’t be farther apart on most hot topics 🤣. But we agree we can have opposing views and still be good people, still offer to help a stranger, still care about our friends, still human and all that that entails lol. Your political view isn’t your cookie cutter answer to who you can be friends with or who is supposed to be an enemy. Just be human, be a friend, be kind ❤️

Gaining confidence through action, surrounded by encouragement, support, and strength. • All the way to women in their 70’s still kicking ass and setting records, going toe to toe with athletes a quarter their age 🤣. • I’m so thankful to get to capture this beautiful event and to call these athletes my friends. • @powerbooty_meesh you are an incredible human and I know I’m not the only one thankful for you and the staff volunteering for all the work you all do! • Strong women build strong women 💪
Finally caved and got the @viltrox.official 75mm 1.2 Pro. Been looking for a replacement for my Fuji 56 1.2 mk1 and this lens did that plus some. • Just a few snapshots with it but I think I’m going to be very happy creating with this guy.
